Welcome to “UÇMAĞ Turkuaz - Muslim funeral home & international repatriations
“UÇMAĞ” means ‘to ascend to heaven’ and symbolizes the journey of our deceased loved ones to reach eternal happiness in the afterlife. We understand the importance of this journey and strive to ensure that the life of the deceased is honored with respect and empathy, while at the same time observing all essential Islamic rites and traditional customs. Our funeral home is independent and stands for openness towards cultural and traditional customs and the beliefs of the Islamic faith, so that it is a matter of course for us to respond to the most diverse needs on your part during the transfer and burial. We treat the bereaved with the utmost understanding and support them during this difficult time.
We offer you reliable and competent advice and services in all areas of cemetery and funeral matters and we take care of the entire organization and implementation, including the funeral service and burial in Germany, so that you can always feel safe in good hands.
We have over 20 years of experience in repatriating deceased people abroad. We work with partners in many countries so that we can carry out repatriations flexibly and within the shortest possible time, by land or air - anywhere in the world. We stand for respectful and dignified funeral and repatriation services that are firmly anchored in the tradition of Islam.
Our company was founded in 2024 by Mr. Serdar Demir. Despite our young business age, we have over 20 years of experience in Islamic funerals and worldwide repatriations due to the co-founding, long-term management and operational management of DITIB-ZSU GmbH by Mr. Serdar Demir.
In cooperation with domestic and foreign offices and authorities, administrations, associations and institutions, airlines and freight carriers, he was instrumental in the creation of standards, unified rules and recurring procedures for funerals according to Islamic rites and especially for international repatriations (especially during the Covid19 pandemic).
We are honored to welcome them to our institute and will support them with expertise, experience, care, empathy and respect during this important time.
